GALWAY, IRELAND--January 21, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Germany has passed the 1 gigawatt (GW) milestone for offshore wind capacity. The findings show that there were 258 offshore wind turbines in operation at the end of December 2014, generating 1,049.2 megawatts (MW) of electricity.
