Blue Dolphin Energy, on October 26, restarted its 14,500-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) San Antonio, Texas, refinery, after completing a plant-wide maintenance turnaround that began on October 3.
Pemex TRI is performing preventative repairs on six units at its 270,000-BBL/d refinery in Cadereyta, Mexico, which are expected to be completed by the first week of November.
International
LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez was forced to shut down the 31,300-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater 24-100 unit on October 13, for unplanned maintenance, at its 420,000-BBL/d Perm Refinery in Russia. The restart is tentatively expected by the end of October.
Gazprom Neft PAO has completed planned maintenance on the 24,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit Gasoline Hydrotreater (GO BKK) and 10,400-BBL/d Visbreaker units at its 400,000-BBL/d Omsk Refinery in Russia, although the units will remain in reserve mode until late October due to a lack of feed.
Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has delayed the restart of the 33,000-BBL/d Atmospheric Residue Desulfurization (ARDS) Unit 1 and 33,000-BBL/d ARDS 2 at its 346,000-BBL/d Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery in Kuwait due to some additional repairs needed. The ARDS 1 is scheduled to come online by October 29, and the ARDS 2 tentatively by November 3. The units were shut down on October 18 due to an explosion in the ARDS 2.
