In Newark, New Jersey, construction was completed in September on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's Terminal A (Terminal One) Newark Liberty Airport Redevelopment Project, with an estimated price tag of $2.7 billion. The project, which kicked off in mid-2018, involved the upgrade and renaming of Terminal A at the Newark Liberty International Airport, with the construction of a 1 million-square-foot building, installation of 33 terminal gates and the construction of a 3,000-space garage. Located on a 2,000-acre site, the 3.3 million-square-foot complex capable of producing 300,000 vehicles per year. The facility includes a press shop, welding shop, paint shop, general assembly facility, test track, ancillary support building and an administration building, along with supporting equipment and systems. The largest of the completions was the Hebron Air Services Hub in Kentucky, which was completed in May. Located on a 920-acre site, the 3 million-square-foot building includes a 350,000-square-foot loading dock.
