Nearly all of the petrochemical plants in Iran that were shut down in April due to widespread flooding have restarted. The units, including two large ethylene units and a few polymer units, were closed for unplanned maintenance due to flood-related damage and the cut-off of feedstock supplies for 7-8 weeks. The units are expected to quickly ramp up production in the coming weeks.
