CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--June 4, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Mexico's state-owned Compania Federal de Electricidad (CFE) (Mexico City) plans to expand the 720-megawatt (MW) Cerro Prieto Geothermal Power Station in Baja California, Mexico, to 820 MW by 2012. The plant currently operates 13 generating units equipped with turbines ranging from 25 to 110 MW that were manufactured by Toshiba and Mitsubishi.
