Orsted Achieves 50% Turbine Installation at U.S. Offshore Windfarm, Signs PPA for Texas Solar Project

During the week, the company announced that more than 50% of the turbines have been installed at its South Fork offshore windfarm, located in waters 35 miles off Long Island. In addition, Orsted signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Bloomberg LP (New York, New York) for offtake from the Mockingbird solar farm in Texas, making the plant's future power generation fully contracted.
