Petron Corporation, the Philippines' largest oil refiner, plans to put on hold an expansion plan at its Bataan Refinery after the company failed to hit its projected net income for 2019. Instead, Petron will focus on its existing petrochemicals production, prioritizing projects at its Malaysia refinery, which reported the strongest income for the company.
