Some 560,000 pounds per hour of steam, from the cogen, will be used in the manufacturing process at the olefins plant, a chemical plant, and a refinery all on the same complex.
Aker Kvaerner, Incorporated (Houston, Texas), a unit of Aker Kvaerner Group (Lysaker, Norway) will provide engineering, procurement, and construction services for the project. Aker Kvaerner is a world-class contractor and supplier that has a successful track record executing some of the world's most challenging oil & gas, chemical & polymer, refining and energy projects.
