Architectural Firm Awarded on $60 Million Distribution Center in Wyoming

Carter & Burgess Incorporated (Fort Worth, Texas) has been awarded the architectural and engineering contract for a $60 million regional distribution center to be constructed by Wal-Mart Stores Incorporated in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Designs are currently underway for construction on an 850,000 square foot regional distribution center to be built off Interstate 80 and Round Top Road in Laramie County. Wal-Mart has not received permits as yet for the new distribution center. Once permits are finalized, a general contractor is expected to be selected in the late summer of 2005. Construction is expected to begin in the late fall of 2005, with overall completion slated for the spring of 2007.
