Australia's winter crop production is projected to increase 53% from the same period in 2019-20, owing to a 23% expansion in the nation's planting area, according to the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES).
The bureau says crop produce will total about 44.5 million tons in 2020-21, an 11% gain when compared with the 10-year average ending 2019-20.
