Borden Chemical Nears Completion of Major Formaldehyde Expansion in Alberta
Borden Chemical operates almost twenty formaldehyde resin plants across North America and produces almost 40% of the total formaldehyde produced in both the United States and Canada

Borden Chemical Canada Limited (Vancouver, British Columbia), a subsidiary of Borden Chemical Incorporated, is planning to complete the construction of a $20 million expansion at their Edmonton, Alberta plant site (Plant 2016545) during the second quarter. Borden expects this expansion (PEC 56000611) to increase the site capacity by approximately 130,000 metric tons per year of formaldehyde resin when complete.
