Brazil to See $11 Billion of Mining Projects Kick Off in 2023

The Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, Para and Amazonas are home to 75% of the total mining investments ($8.2 billion) in the country.

Iron mining is the most important mining activity in the country; it represents 34% of investments in Brazil, with more than US$3.7 billion in projects, followed by potash and copper mining, which represent 17% and 14%, respectively.
