The six projects are Datang Shandong Power Generation Company Limited's (Jinan, Shandong) 700-megawatt (MW), grassroot, coal-fired Linqing Cogeneration Project; China Resources Power Holdings Limited's (Hong Kong) 1,320-MW, grassroot, coal-fired Xijiang Power Project in Yunfu County; Guangdong Baolihua New Energy Stock Company Limited's (Shanwei, Guangdong) 2,000-MW, grassroot, coal-fired Jiahuwan Power Project in Lufeng County; Datang International Power Generation Company Limited's (Beijing) (SH.601991) 1,320-MW, Phase V Tuoketuo Power Plant Expansion; Inner Mongolia Halun Energy Company Limited's (Alxa, Inner Mongolia) 660-MW, coal-fired Bayanhot Cogeneration Project; and Zaozhuang Bayi CWM Thermal Power Company Limited's (Zaozhuang, Shandong) 300-MW Coal Gangue Comprehensive Utilization Power Project.

According to the approval, the coal-fired Datang Linqing Cogeneration Project will be furnished with two 350-MW, supercritical, extraction-condensing cogeneration units, with two 1,171-ton-per-hour, supercritical, coal-fired boilers, plus flue gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controsl, slag-removing devices, a sewage processing plant and associated special railway, coal-storage and water supply, and draining systems. It is located in northern Duzhuang in Linqing City, in the Shandong province.

China Resources' Xijiang project will be furnished with two 660-MW, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired steam turbine generating units, with two 2,035-ton-per-hour, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired boilers, plus flue-gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controls, slag-removing devices, a sewage processing plant and associated port, coal-storage and water supply, and draining systems. It is located in Duyang Town, Yunfu County, in the Guangdong province.

The Jiahuwan project will be furnished with two 1,000-MW, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired, steam turbine generating units, with two 3,034-ton-per-hour, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired boilers, plus flue-gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controls, slag-removing devices, a sewage processing plant and associated port, coal-storage and seawater desalting and cooling systems. It is located in Hudong Town of Lufeng County, Shanwei City.

The Datang Tuoketuo plant expansion will be furnished with two 660-MW, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired, air-cooling steam turbine generating units, with two 2,100-ton-per-hour, ultra-supercritical, coal-fired boilers, plus flue-gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controls, a sewage-processing plant and associated coal storage. It is located in the Industrial Park of Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City.

The Bayanhot project will be furnished with two 330-MW, subcritical, extraction-condensing cogeneration units, with two 1,176-ton-per-hour subcritical, coal-fired boilers, plus flue-gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controls, and associated coal storage and a sewage-processing plant. It is located in Bayanhot Town, Alxa League, in the Inner Mongolia region.

The Zaozhuang Bayi project will be built with a 300-MW, subcritical, extraction-condensing cogeneration unit, with a 1,025-ton-per-hour, subcritical, circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, plus flue-gas desulfurization, NOx controls, dust controls, slag-removing devices, and a sewage processing plant. It is located in the High-Tech Development Zone of Zaozhuang City.
