China Ramps Up Coal Output in June, an Industrial Info Market Brief
China's coal output in June amounted to 330 million metric tons (MMT), an increase of 10.4% over output a year earlier, and 6.9 percentage points higher than in May this year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.

Coal output totaled 1.76 billion metric tons during the first half of 2019, a 2.6% increase from the same period in 2018, the bureau reported. Industrial Info is tracking more than $96 billion worth of coal-mining projects in China.
China's imported 27.10 MMT in June, an increase of 6.4% year over year. For the first half of 2019, coal imports totaled 154 MMT, an increase of 5.8% year over year.
