China's power generation output reached 589.0 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in November.

China's power generation output reached 589 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in November, which was up 4% year over year, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics. For the year through November, power generation amounted to 6,500 billion kWh, an increase of 3.4%.
Hydropower output in November was down 6.4%, and solar power was down 0.3%. Thermal power was up 4.4%, and nuclear power was up 14.9%.
