Colombia's chemical producers are struggling to maintain operational levels with only necessary personnel on site and administrative personnel working remotely. They are focusing on maintenance and delaying many capital investments to the second half of 2020 or even to 2021.

Henkel has delayed an expansion project at its Sibate Adhesives Plant in Cundinamarca state until market conditions stabilize, and many other Colombian companies are following suit.
