ConocoPhillips Finishes Turnaround on Reformer at Refinery in Alliance, Louisiana

Officials at the refinery said they would introduce feed into Reformer 1931 sometime between the weekend and the middle of this week.

ConocoPhillips recently completed a 24-day planned maintenance turnaround on the same refinery's 35,000-BBL/d Gulfiner 293 mid-distillate hydrotreater, which is expected to restart when Reformer 1391 is back in full swing. The company is also finishing repairs on the 70,000-BBL/d Diesel Straight Run HT 292 distillate hydrotreater after a 28-day planned maintenance turnaround; work is expected to finish late next week, and the unit will restart shortly thereafter.

The Alliance refinery opened in 1971 and is one of the last refineries to be built in the U.S. ConocoPhillips is the second-largest U.S. refiner and the world's fourth-largest private refiner, with crude oil processing capacity of about 2 million BBL/d in the U.S. and nearly 2.7 million BBL/d globally.
