Constellation Generation Group, a business unit of Constellation Energy Group (NYSE: CEG) (Baltimore, MD) has completed the construction phase of the $200 million Oleander power plant project in Florida. Located near the city of Cocoa, the 680-megawatt plant will enter into full commercial operation sometime this month and will provide electricity during hours of peak demand. Output from the plant will be sold on the wholesale market and to Seminole Electric Cooperative.

Constellation Generation Group controls over 9,000 megawatts of electricity, and will own and operate more than 12,000 megawatts by the end of 2003.
