CRUDE OIL
U.S. Oil Supplies Fall - U.S. crude stocks declined by 4.62 million barrels for the week ending March 30, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Gasoline inventories fell by 1.1 million barrels. (Bloomberg)
PIPELINES
First Phase of Texas NGL Pipeline Begins Operation - EPIC Y Grade Pipeline LP has announced that first phase of a planned natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline from the Permian Basin to Corpus Christi, Texas, has begun operations. Phase Two is currently under construction with an expected in-service date of June 2018. Phase Three is expected to be complete in the second half of 2019. When complete, the EPIC NGL pipeline will have a throughput capacity of 350,000 barrels per day with multiple origin points in the Delaware and Midland basins. (Project 300389706) (Digital Journal)

Cyberattack Affects Utilities - A cyberattack that hobbled the operations of at least four natural gas pipeline companies starting late last week also triggered changes within the utility industry. Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE:DUK) said it first learned about the attack on March 30. At least four U.S. pipeline companies have said their electronic communications systems have shut over the past few days, with three confirming the service disruptions were caused by a cyberattack. Energy Transfer Partners LP (NYSE:ETP), Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP (NYSE:BWP), and Chesapeake Utilities Corp.'s Eastern Shore Natural Gas were among the companies affected by outages, while Oneok Incorporated (NYSE:OKE) said it disabled its system as a precaution.
