European Windpower Reaches Record Levels, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Many European countries, including France, Lithuania, Sweden and Italy, have reached new records for wind-power generation since March. Germany and Denmark also continue to generate the majority of their power from windfarms.

Industrial Info is tracking 5,195 operational windfarms across Europe. Germany leads with 1,789 windfarms, followed by France with 686, the U.K. with 482 and Spain with 477. Click here for the list of windfarms.
