Mitsui & Company and Beach Energy are preparing to make a final investment decision on the Waitsia Phase 2 project in Western Australia by the end of December.
The project involves further drilling in the Waitsia natural gas field, along with a new production facility and a network of flowlines and gathering hubs, which will be used to connect the production wells to the new processing plant, and to the export pipeline installed.
