Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Frontier Refining & Marketing Incorporated (Denver, Colorado) has selected Burns & McDonnell (Houston, Texas) to perform engineering, procurement, and construction services for Frontier's ultra-low-sulfur gasoline project at the company's Cheyenne Refinery in Wyoming.

Frontier is looking to reduce sulfur content in gasoline by installing a second reactor in the series. The construction is expected to begin in late 2009 and to be completed in 2010.

Frontier Refining & Marketing Incorporated is a subsidiary of Frontier Oil Corporation (Houston, Texas). Frontier Oil's only two refineries are in Wyoming and Kansas. Frontier acquired the 110,000-barrel-per-day El Dorado refinery from Equilon Enterprises LLC, on November 17, 1999.
