Grupo Petropolis to Expand New Brewery in Brazil, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Grupo Petropolis, one of the largest beer producers in Brazil, recently announced its intention to invest up to R$135 million (US$25.88 million) for a new production line at its recently inaugurated brewery in Uberaba, Minas Gerais.
The new facility, which commenced operations in August, has three operational production lines. A fourth line, currently being installed by Krones, is due to be completed by January 2021. With the four production lines, the brewery will produce up to 850 million liters per year. A fifth line is due to be completed by September 2021, and will increase the brewery's capacity to 1.14 billion liters.
