Renewable Energy Systems Americas Incorporated (Broomfield, Colorado) was the developer and constructor of the project and is now the operator and owner, along with GE Financial Services, a division of General Electric (NYSE:GE) (Fairfield, Connecticut). The windfarm consists of 72 Siemens (NYSE:SI) (Munich, Germany) wind turbines and has a nameplate capacity of 166 megawatts.

Austin Energy (Austin, Texas) has a power-purchase agreement to buy the entire capacity of electricity from the windfarm. The windfarm is expected to provide electricity to about 39,000 households in the city of Austin and outlying communities. Construction cost an estimated $350 million and was completed within a year.
