Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Holly Corporation (NYSE:HOC) (Dallas, Texas) is on schedule to begin a major turnaround at the east facility of the company's refinery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The turnaround will affect the 25,000-BBL/d ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) hydrotreater and will last approximately 16 days. The refinery's ULSD hydrotreater generally has a maintenance turnaround scheduled every four years.
Holly is planning a turnaround on the western facility's 9,000-BBL/d delayed coker unit in April this year. The turnaround should take approximately one month.
Holly Corporation acquired the two sections of the refinery in separate transactions in 2009. The two sections are located approximately two miles apart, and Holly plans to connect them via pipeline. The integrated refinery will be operated at a planned capacity of 125,000 BBL/d.
