Chevron Corporation will conduct 35 days of planned maintenance on the Lone Crude; 38,000-BBL/d Vacuum Tower; and 24,000-BBL/d Reformer 3 CCR units at its 100,000-BBL/d Pasadena, Texas, refinery, starting with oil-out procedures on April 10, 2020, followed by mechanical work on April 13.
WRB Refining LP is expected to restart the 30,000-BBL/d FCCU 29 unit later this evening, November 11, at its 145,000-BBL/d Borger, Texas, refinery. The unit required additional repairs on November 4, which extended the event.
International
LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka LLC has scheduled planned maintenance at its 334,000-BBL/d Volgograd Refinery in Russia. Maintenance for the 30,000-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (GO DT-18/1); 30,000-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (GO DT-18/2); 14,600-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer L-35/11-1000 (1); and the 14,600-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer L-35/11-1000 (2) units is scheduled to kick off in early March 2020, and completion is planned for early April.
Total Refining & Chemicals has rescheduled the completion of a major maintenance turnaround at its 205,000-BBL/d Gonfreville Refinery in France. The 9-week turnaround for the Distillation area (two units); Deep Conversion 1 area (two units); and Deep Conversion 3 (one unit), that kicked off on September 7, was planned to be completed by early November. But due to blocked pipes and corrosion issues discovered in the Crude D11 piping network, the unit and associated Distillation area are set to resume production around November 25.
Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited successfully restarted its 170,000-BBL/d Sriracha Thailand Refinery on November 1, after completing a 55-day, planned, plant-wide turnaround that began on September 8; the turnaround involved 10 major units.
