Motiva Enterprises is in the process of restarting the 54,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Delayed Coker 1 at its 600,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas, refinery, which shut down on May 17 due to a transformer issue.

Valero today, May 19, restarted the 53,000-BBL/d CRU 1343 at its 343,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas, refinery, after an unplanned shutdown on May 17.

Suncor has delayed a 46-day planned maintenance turnaround, from June to August, at its upgrader in Fort McMurray, Alberta, due to rising COVID-19 cases in the area.

International
Rosneft NK PAO has scheduled a planned turnaround of the 23,100-BBL/d Delayed Coker, from October 4 to October 24, at its 160,000-BBL/d Komsomolsk, Russia, refinery.

NNK Independent Petroleum Company restarted the 87,000-BBL/d ABT (Crude 1) and 36,000-BBL/d ABT (Vacuum 1) units at its 104,000-BBL/d Khabarovsk, Russia refinery, after completing planned maintenance that took place from May 13 to May 16. The turnaround work began April 17.

Cosmo Oil Company Limited remains on schedule to perform a 33-day planned turnaround of the lone Crude unit, beginning August 20, at its 100,000-BBL/d Sakai, Japan, refinery. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by September 21. Other units also scheduled to shut down include the 24,000-BBL/d FCCU, from August 24 to September 28, and the 31,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker, from August 25 to October 5.
