CRUDE OIL
U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Down - U.S. crude inventories fell by 2 million barrels in the week to September 25 to 492.4 million barrels. Exports rose while imports fell, helping facilitate the drawdown. Distillate stockpiles fell by 3.2 million barrels in the week. Gasoline stocks rose by 683,000 barrels in the week to 228.2 million barrels. (Reuters)

EIA: U.S. Oil Output Rose by More than 500,000 BBL/d in July - U.S. oil output rose 538,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) in July to 10.984 million BBL/d, up from 10.446 million BBL/d in June, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in a monthly report on Wednesday. July oil output was boosted by gains in North Dakota, Texas and the offshore U.S. Gulf of Mexico. (Reuters)
Norway's Equinor Maintains Output, but More Workers Could Strike - Equinor (NYSE:EQNR) can maintain safe operations at western Europe's largest producing oilfield despite a strike by some workers, it said on Wednesday, but the labor conflict could escalate this week. The company has 43 workers on strike at the Johan Sverdrup field after wage talks failed between the Lederne trade union and the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association. The field has an output capacity of 470,000 BBL/d, which is close to a quarter of Norway's oil output and about 12% of the country's combined oil and gas production. (Reuters)
