HPCL has selected pipeline contractors for six spreads of the 2,757-kilometer, cross-country liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pipeline from Kandla to Gorakhpur in India. The pipeline will connect three major states--Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh--to the western coast and provide LPG to 22 bottling plants of three oil marketing companies -- IOCL, BPCL and HPCL.
