Indonesia's first COVID-19 case was reported on March 3. Several industries have been devastated in the month since, including Metals & Minerals.
In particular, Indonesia's mining sector has seen some projects, both planned and under construction, delayed due to a slowdown in Chinese investment and unpredictable economic conditions in the steel and cement markets. On the other hand, the production of minerals such as coal and nickel has been largely unaffected.
