Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) is pleased to introduce our new Power Industry Transmission & Distribution Database. Adding to Industrial Info's extensive coverage of plants, projects and equipment in the North American Power Industry, this new database segment expands Industrial Info's transmission and distribution (T&D) project coverage by including profiles of unmanned substations and their associated projects, including grassroot construction, expansions and upgrades.

Industrial Info's Power Industry Database currently includes profiles of more than 6,100 operational and pre-commissioned power facilities across North America, as well as more than 3,700 Power Industry projects that are in the planning, engineering or construction phases in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The Transmission & Distribution Database zeros in on projects and facilities in the T&D sector, an area that is rapidly evolving as populations shift, new industries grow, and programs such as the Competitive Renewable Energy Zones (CREZ) initiative in Texas and CapX2020 in the upper Midwest are implemented.

Substation profiles and project reports are for both utilities and system owners and operators. The database currently includes information on approximately 500 Transmission & Distribution projects and 600 substation profiles, with expectations to add hundreds more in the near future, as Industrial Info continues to expand this product.
