Kentucky reported total corporate investments of $5.3 billion in 2019, as reported last month by the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development (KCED). This marks the second-highest annual total, just surpassing 2018's $5.28 billion. The annual record belongs to 2017, at $8.7 billion.
KCED anticipates an additional 10,700 jobs in the Bluegrass State, nearly half of which will be in rural counties. Industrial Info is tracking 84 projects in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry alone, with a total investment value of more than $3.4 billion.
