South Korean automotive major KIA Motors started trial production at an ambitious, $2 billion automotive plant project in Anantapur, in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The company expects to roll out its first vehicle from the new facility by July 2019. Along with the two vendor parks, the project will be built in phases and will be fully operational by 2021.
