National Gypsum Company Invests in Louisiana Plant

National Gypsum Company (NGC) (Charlotte, North Carolina) will invest $10 million to upgrade their plant in Westwego, Louisiana (Plant 1004210). The project will consist of installing a new wallboard dryer kiln, (3) 200 horsepower blowers, (2) 100 horsepower blowers, burners, and ductwork (7' diameter). The upgrade is expected to begin June 2004 and should be complete late this year.
