Nevro, a global medical devices company, is planning to begin operations at a grassroot plant in Coyol Free Zone, in Costa Rica's Alajuela city. Nevro will construct a 41,000-square-foot building to produce implantable neuromodelation devices, called Senza, by the end of 2023.
The Coyol Free Zone has been recognized as the most important free zone in Latin America by The European Magazine. Among the other medical devices global companies in the zone are Abbott, MicroVention, Cirtec and Boston Scientific.
