Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--William H. Zimmer Power Station, a coal-fired plant located in Moscow, Ohio, was taken offline Friday evening. Plant personnel cited some irregular levels in the plant's water chemistry area. The plant is owned by Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK) (Charlotte, North Carolina).

Contacts said that the plant is scheduled to return to service Thursday, when repairs have been completed and water readings have been regulated.
Zimmer has a total capacity of 1,394 megawatts (MW). The plant had just returned to service after a forced outage that occurred in early November due to unforeseen turbine issues. The next scheduled outage is planned for the fall of 2015.
