Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--This may come as a surprise given the current economic situation, but planned industrial project spending in Harris County, Texas, is up for 2009. In fact, with 125 projects planned to begin construction in 2009 representing $4.4 billion in total investment value (TIV), planned industrial project spending in the county is three times larger than it was in 2007. At that time, Industrial Info was monitoring 93 projects with a TIV of $1.6 billion planned to begin construction in 2007.
