Researched by Industrial Information Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--On April 5, Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station (Berwick, Pennsylvania) took Unit 2 offline for planned refueling, as well as turbine and generator maintenance. While nearing the end of this outage, inspectors did a walkthrough and found faulty, unreliable blades in the low-pressure turbine. As of now, officials are looking to have the unit back online in June.
