Premier Technology Chooses Idaho Site for New Manufacturing Plant

Premier Technology Incorporated (PTI) (Pocatello, Idaho) broke ground on July 14 for a new 100,000 square foot plant in Blackfoot, Idaho, and expects to begin actual construction later this month. Completion of the $7 million plant, which doubles the area of the company's manufacturing facility in Pocatello, is scheduled for April of 2006.

PTI manufactures tanks, silos, HVAC and ductwork, instruments and controls, food processing equipment, conveyor systems, dry handling systems, sanitary piping, waste handling systems, and radiation shielding and equipment, as well as turnkey facilities, for the food processing and packaging, mineral and chemical, nuclear, medical and pharmaceutical, and semi-conductor industries, and the DOE/DOD.

The company also acts as a general contractor, primarily for the food industry, offering design/build, engineering services, and turnkey construction services.

PTI has manufacturing facilities in Pocatello, at its corporate headquarters on East Siphon Road, and in Kimberley, Idaho, where it will continue manufacturing operations after the new plant is built.
