Printpack Heads to Indiana to Build Manufacturing Facility

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Printpack (Atlanta, Georgia), one of the largest flexible and specialty rigid packaging converters in the United States, has set eyes on Bloomington, Indiana, for a grassroot packaging manufacturing facility.

The 300,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is estimated to cost $52 million. Printpack broke ground in October of this year and plans to have the facility servicing a diverse client base by September 2010.

O'Neal Incorporated (Greenville, South Carolina) was selected to provide general construction for the facility. O'Neal has been successfully delivering capital projects in the automotive, pharmaceutical/biotech, process chemical, manufacturing, energy, and pulp and paper markets worldwide.

As the Electrical Contractor for the manufacturing facility, Gaylord Incorporated (Noblesville, Indiana) was selected to do the electrical work on the facility.
