Thailand's Department of Energy Business recently announced it aims to make most trucks in the Asian nation compatible with B20 Biodiesel, a blend of 80% diesel and 20% crude palm oil. The government announced support from major truck assemblers, such as Isuzu and Toyota.
B20's blend significantly increases its content of crude palm oil from the current 7%. Thailand's Oil Palm Board said this year's production will increase to 3 million tons, from last year's 2.5 million tons.
