Formosa Plastics' 1,650 million-pound-per-year Olefins 1 ethylene unit in Point Comfort, Texas, remains shut down. The unit shut down on August 2, 2022, due to economics within the plastics market. The unit is expected to restart in late April.

Polinter's 353 million-pound-per-year High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Unit in Maracaibo, Venezuela, shut down for 40 days beginning March 1 due to the interruption of feedstock supply from Pequiven's plant also located in Maracaibo. The unit is expected to resume operations on April 10.
