The $5 million, 78,000 square foot expansion was designed, constructed, and prepared for equipment installation by Brasfield & Gorrie LLC (Birmingham, Alabama). The expansion project included adding a fourth tube mill and a finished-product storage area.
Southland Tube produces structural and mechanical steel tubes, 2-inch to 6-inch rounds and 2-inch to 5-inch square and rectangular tubes, used in many and varied applications, from roll bars on John Deere tractors and car-hauling trailers to service station awnings, as well as for structural applications.
