Wisconsin Transmission Line to Connect Power Station Expansion with Grid

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Wisconsin Power and Light Company (Madison, Wisconsin) and American Transmission Company (Wisconsin) plan to construct a 345-kilovolt (kV) transmission line that will connect a 700-megawatt (MW) power plant expansion project in Wisconsin to the electric grid.

To be constructed in 2019, the $60 million Riverside Transmission Line Project will consist of six miles of overhead, double-circuit transmission lines from a planned new substation near the Alliant Energy West Riverside Energy Center expansion project, to an existing 345-kV transmission line in Beloit, Wisconsin.
