Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--World Health Energy Holdings Incorporated (OTC:WHEN) (West Palm Beach, Florida), a public holding company that develops partnerships for algae production for biofuels and commercial fish food, announced it has begun testing its water purification system. The company recently acquired Global Natural Energy Limited (LSE:GNE) (Buckinghamshire, England), an algae technology company with the distribution and licensing rights to a unique and innovative technology.
Global Natural Energy's GB 3000 water purification system can grow algae quickly and efficiently for the production of biodiesel and commercial fish food protein.
World Health also has inked a partnership with Prime Incorporated (New Delhi, India) to develop the technology into a commercial-scale biodiesel and fish food production facility that will be built in Rayakottal, India.
The estimated $100 million project involves development of a 250-acre algae farm that will generate enough algae feedstock to produce up to 70,000 liters per year of biodiesel and hi-protein fish food as a by-product, using GNE's GB 3000 system.
The project still needs its permit and funding approvals before moving forward, and construction of the facility is expected to start late this year and be completed by mid-2013.
