Westlake Vinyls is wrapping up a planned minor maintenance shutdown of the 730 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Calvert City, Kentucky, plant. Restart is expected by the end of the weekend.
Eastman Chemical has rescheduled a 30-day planned turnaround of the 300 million-pound-per-year HCC 3 and 3a units at its Longview, Texas, plant. The turnaround, which was previously scheduled to begin in May 2021, is now postponed to May 2022.

Dow Benelux has scheduled a major, two-month planned maintenance turnaround of the 1.3 billion-pound-per-year LHC 1 ethylene unit, for late September 2021, at its Terneuzen Petrochemical Complex in the Netherlands.
GAIL India Limited is planning a 13-day maintenance turnaround of the 992 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit, which will begin March 15, 2021, at its Auraiya (Pata) Complex in India. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by March 27.
Abadan Petrochemical Company started a 15-day maintenance turnaround of the 60.3 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit on December 16 at its Abadan Complex in Iran. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by December 30.
