National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Russia's JSC Zarubezhneft to develop the Aban and Paydar-e Gharb oil fields in Iran.
Both fields are jointly owned by Iran and Iraq. The production is expected to eventually increase to 105 million barrels from current 38 million barrels.
