Australia to Develop New Composting Facility

FOGO includes organic materials such as fruit and vegetable scraps, leftover foods, processed food waste and more.

The composting process will lessen the release of greenhouse gases in landfills, cutting emissions by up to 30%. This is part of Australia's National Waste Policy Action Plan to reduce organic waste and improve resource recovery toward a net-zero emission goal.
