Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas). A new alliance group has been formed to provide ethanol producers and cooperatives one stop shopping when it comes to building an ethanol plant. The Bio-Renewable Group (Fargo, North Dakota) consists of highly regarded ethanol players Wanzek Construction (Fargo, North Dakota), Vogelbusch USA Incorporated (Houston, Texas), CJ Schneider Engineering (Omaha, Nebraska), and Suitt Construction (Greenville, South Carolina) a division of BE&K (Birmingham, Alabama).
The alliance was formed to provide existing ethanol producers and new companies and cooperatives with turn-key services for getting ethanol projects up and going. In the past, individuals wanting to build ethanol plants would have to go separately to technology providers, feasibility study and cost estimators, and engineering & construction firms to build plants. Bio-Renewable can take care of all the above as well as provide financial & permitting assistance and plant start-up and training. They also make every effort to involve local subcontracting talent and the community whenever possible to try and keep the area economy involved with the building process.
The company is presently working on several ethanol projects in the 20 to 30 million gallon per year range, as well as negotiating a couple of large 80 to 100 million gallon per year projects in the U.S.
Jay Brunson, Synthetic Fuels Manager for Industrialinfo.com, added, With over $4 billion in capital spending projected in the ethanol market between now and 2005, there is plenty of work to go around. Bio-Renewable is providing a service that enables companies and cooperatives to get ethanol plants from conception to market quicker than traditional methods of the past.
