In April, China's output of natural gas totaled 16.1 billion cubic meters, an increase of 14.3% from April 2019, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics. From January to April, China's output of natural gas totaled 64.4 billion cubic meters, an increase of 10.3% from the same period last year.
China's import of natural gas reached 7.73 million metric tons in April, an increase of 1% from April 2019; from January to April, China's total import of natural gas reached 32.33 million metric tons, an increase of 1.5% from the same period last year.
